The Lorax by ColinHSillerud The Lorax by ColinHSillerud
...who speaks for the trees.

Walking around the upper reaches of Zion, I couldn't help but feel I was a part of a Dr. Suess fairy tale. Every blisteringly red-on-white bump like this was adorned with its requisite individual tree.

How is it that there seems to be exactly one tree for one bump?

This is too cool! I've seen pictures of this little "butte" before but none as good as this. Killer sky, love the placement of the tree and the moon. All around winner.

Thanks Chris! I had never seen it before, but after shooting it I must have seen a hundred shots! it is right next to the road so i guess that makes sense.

...as for the tree, it feels like the feather in the cap - a bit bent perhaps, but nonetheless...
