Moonrise Sonata by ColinHSillerud Moonrise Sonata by ColinHSillerud
Shot five minutes before "Coyote Dawn [link]" The those five minutes produced the full gamut of emotions from hot to cold, breathless to serene. What a day!

I have never been quite so taken with a photo, this is simply amazing. Damnit, very touching, i have honestly never experienced this reaction to a picture before.

Some days ago i experienced the stars showing up at the break of dawn and like this it was amazing. When i got home i went to visit this, it's so incredibly radiant and the contrast of the cliff formations makes a wonderful contrast.

this is a superb scene. The interplay of light is stunning. One could never adequately describe this any other way but with a camera.

thank you. i was scrambling so frantically to take advantage of the light that i wasn't even sure what two images i had shot until i got home.

just glad i remembered to change from the 5000 iso i was using during the night prior.

oh god yeah, I've had shots ruined by not changing the ISO back from night shots :D

yeah, it is just one of those things that can kill a shot and is easy to experience. just one of the give-and-takes from going digital.
