As i was writing this i had a struggle to describe why i liked it so much and then i saw what you had written and that describes it perfectly. Iron will, fight of life, entropy. Spot on.
I got but one regret and that's the size, i'd love to see this in more details.
And I don't think it's cliche at all - you happened to stumble across an incredible formation, and you were completely right to capture it
It really have the shape of an human face that will pierce out a sort of veil.
Everything is awesome and fit with the idea here... all that shapes, the broken rock that looks like a lightning stirke..
