Above the alpine line, where snow packs fifteen-feet-deep five months of the year, an oasis of gueule de loup springs from the cracks. As the sun turns over head, the faces of the flowers spin in unison, fighting to attract the few bees that venture so high.
This is a blend of 7 focus slices for the foreground depth of field and one different exposure for the sky. The lens is literally 7" from the flowers. That is why I needed so many focus slices.
